"My artistic practice operates within the expanded field of painting and encompasses murals, two-dimensional and site-specific works, installations in public space, works on paper, performances, and video pieces. Against the backdrop of an expanded understanding of painting, I explore the interplay between color, process, and space; the intermediality of different media; materiality; and the position of the viewer. Both personal and intercultural perspectives play a central role in this process.

A key focus of my work lies in the artistic exploration of the abstract concept of “diversity.” I analyze its underlying forms, structures, and processes and translate them into gestural and situational forms of expression. Using a wide range of media, I develop a visual language that spans mixed-media works on canvas, performance, works on paper, objects, and video installations. My interest is directed toward expanding perception—both for myself as an artist and as an impulse for the viewer. Central to this is the question of how imagination and personal experience can become integral components of the artistic process. What drives me is the moment in which perception and imagination merge, allowing what is seen to be re-experienced in new ways. I understand art not only as the production of reality, but as the creation of an autonomous reality whose presence leaves a lasting imprint on our consciousness".
