Carolina Pérez Pallares develops an expanded concept of painting by breaking it down into its constituent parts, dismantling it, and fragmentarily juxtaposing it on site in interaction with all these elements and the space itself. Carolina Pérez Pallares' artistic practice layers upon layers, creating a non-figurative narrative from fragments and an archive of fleeting snapshots that open up associative visual worlds.

In the current exhibition, she concentrates on a reduced presentation that focuses on a haptic approach. The individual materials lay themselves down in the space as an almost tangible layer, creating a moment of silence and concentration. The installation form allows for a physical approach to the various surfaces and objects and encourages viewers to approach them from different perspectives in order to perceive the complexity of the surfaces from multiple distances.
